The EXIST Program has four different program lines:


  • EXIST Startup Grant supports students, graduates and scientists from universities and research institutions who want to turn their innovative and knowledge-based business idea into a startup.
  • EXIST Transfer of Research supports outstanding research-oriented projects that involve expensive and high-risk resource development.
  • EXIST-Women aims to encourage women at universities and research institutes to venture into entrepreneurial independence.
  • EXIST-Potentials gives support for universities and their startup networks for the implementation of measures to promote startups.

Through highly-customized programs, mentoring from local experts, as well as access to our vast network of business partners and investors, we help startups from all stages and across various industries on their way to international success. Since launching in 2012, German Accelerator has nurtured over 850 startups which have raised more than $15.6 billion in funding so far.
